Young players often seek opportunities away from Real Madrid’s senior squad due to intense competition. Following their development cycle with the Castilla team, a move elsewhere for regular first-team football becomes a common path. Defender Jacobo Ramon appears to be the latest talent considering this option.
The Athletic reports that Jacobo Ramon’s representatives hope he can leave Real Madrid after the current FIFA Club World Cup tournament in North America concludes. The 20-year-old centre-back is attracting attention from Serie A side Como.
A potential move could see him join former teammate Nico Paz, who is playing well there under coach Cesc Fabregas. Ramon’s entourage is reportedly keen for a transfer to be finalised in the coming weeks.

Ramon has gained some experience with the Real Madrid first team already. He made his senior debut in a UEFA Champions League match in January and also appeared in several La Liga games late last season. He has featured in one of the team’s five matches during the ongoing Club World Cup in the US.
Despite having a contract until 2028, a regular place in the first team looks challenging given the strong competition ahead of him. A transfer to Como might benefit his continued growth as a player.
