Real Madrid continues adding young talent to its squads. The club is focusing on reinforcing its academy for the future, having already made significant first-team signings this summer. Attention now turns to boosting the Castilla team, led by manager Alvaro Arbeloa.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid has reached an agreement to sign Rachad Fettal, a 20-year-old striker from Almeria. This young attacker is set to join the Castilla squad to provide new attacking options.
Fettal is a Spanish-Moroccan centre-forward who has advanced through Almeria’s youth system into their senior side. He has appeared 21 times for the second-tier club, contributing one goal and one assist.

The forward has represented Spain at various youth levels. Later, he chose to play for Morocco internationally, featuring for their Under-20 team. Fettal’s contract with Almeria has only one year remaining, making him an attractive target. He can play centrally or on the wing.
This move comes as Gonzalo Garcia is expected to be promoted to Real Madrid’s first team next season. Arbeloa’s Castilla team needed a new striker, and Fettal appears to be the player chosen to fill that spot.
