Legendary Real Madrid left-back Marcelo recently spoke about current Los Blancos players he would have most liked to share the pitch with. The former star, who spent many years at the club, offered his insight this week into who from today’s squad caught his eye.
Marcelo enjoyed a standout career with Real Madrid. He spent 15 years in Spain’s capital, from 2007 until 2022, cementing his place as a club icon. During his time, Marcelo played alongside numerous football greats, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos.

This weekend, Marcelo provided a new perspective on which current players in Xabi Alonso’s ranks he wished he could have joined on the field. He specifically named a trio of talents. The former defender picked Kylian Mbappé, followed by young Arda Güler, and finally, Jude Bellingham as the players he would most like to have played alongside.
